Charges

How do I know that my order has been received, processed and shipped?

After shopping at our site, you will receive an email confirmation that your order has been received and processed. We will let you know when the article/s will be shipped and give you an authorization number that will relate to your order and allow for any follow up necessary

I want to buy a jewel from your collection .what are my options?

Let's begin with all the ways of purchasing available to you through our secured website:

• Online in the site store with our secure ssl or by paypal
• A phone call.
• Fax.
• Email detailing the purchase about which you want to consult, by filling out a form available on the website. Furthermore, you may ask us about the item you are interested in, and we'll be happy to reply.

Note that when purchasing a jewel, a flannel cloth soaked with a special dry cleaning material would be added to it. Though the cloth does go black in time, you may use the cloth for up to 10 years. Do NOT wash the cloth in the laundry machine!!

Jewelry maintenance

How can I maintain the original color and sparkle of the jewelry?

When purchasing a jewel on our site you get a little gift from us: A flannel cloth soaked with special dry cleaning material. Though the cloth does turn black with time, you can use it for up to 5 years. Do NOT wash the cloth in the laundry machine!!

Return Policies

You may return or replace any item within 3 weeks of receipt of your order. The item(s) should be in their original condition, including the original packaging. Please let us know in advance, via e-mail, of a refund package coming our way. Although we do not require it, we would like to know the reason for the return.

Full refunds are given to original buyer only. Gifts can only be exchanged.
Please note: items purchased in the Ophir store in Israel can only be exchanged through the store.

Shipping Information

We now offer free shipping to anywhere in the world. It takes approximately 6-21 days to ship. Shipping to an address in Israel usually takes 3-6 days.

We do not work on Saturday. Orders that are received late Friday or Saturday are usually processed the following Sunday.
Orders usually ship within 2 business days except on Jewish holidays

Service of repairs

I recently bought a jewel on your site. Three weeks later a stone fell out.

Send it back to Ophir. We will professionally test the jewel. If it is our mistake, we'll repair it and send it back to you. If the jewel had a little "accident", we'll contact you to give you an offer-how much would it cost to be repaired. If damaged, as a part of our service, we repair our jewelry at minimum price.

Special orders

I bought earrings on your site and I lost one. Can you make me a matching earring?

Usually yes. Even if it was bought years ago in our store, a matching design can be made.

The jewelry

Out of what precious metal, do you make the jewelry?

The jewels displayed on the website are made of Sterling silver 925 and 14 Karat gold, unless mentioned otherwise (in the old jewels group, for instance). In such case, the jewel would be accompanied by a specification of its components

Did you design all the jewelry on your site?

The Antique style jewels and the jewels set with ancient coins are mostly made by Ophir. Other styles we display, such as Yemen, Israeli and modern art, were mainly created by Israeli artists during the last century.(ca. 1950-2010)
